Destination Race - Richmond Marathon - November 16, 2024

Come out and join fellow TCTC club members for a destination race that includes a marathon, half marathon and 8K.  The Allianz Partners Richmond Marathon is known as "America's Friendliest Marathon" and is considered a top Boston Qualifier. The 2024 marathon will take place on November 16, starting at 7 AM. The race is a loop that starts and finishes in downtown Richmond, and features scenic and historic sections of the city, the James River, and rolling hills.

Travel Plans

Richmond is an easy 3.5 - 4 hour drive from Winston-Salem.  As the event gets closer, we'll coordinate between those who have registered to share travel and lodging plans. In the meantime, feel free to make your own lodging plans and let us know if you have any recommendations!

Thursday and Friday, Nov. 14-15

Expo open both days - limited hours

Saturday, Nov. 16

6 a.m. – Bag Check opens
7 a.m. sharp – Marathon start (1st & Broad St.)
7:15 a.m. sharp – Half Marathon start – Wave A (7th & Broad St.)
7:30 a.m. sharp – 8k start (8th & Broad St.)
